What’s California Proposition 65, and how does it affect me?
California Proposition 65 is a law that requires all businesses to provide warnings to customers in California about significant exposures to chemicals that have been found to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
As an ecommerce business owner, it’s your responsibility to inform all your customers in California if the products you sell contain any of the chemicals mentioned in the California Proposition 65 warning list. Customers must see this information before they make a purchase.
There are several Printful products that contain the chemicals listed by the State of California. If you already sell any of these products in your store, please copy the corresponding warning message and add it to your product descriptions:

When you push these products to your store, you now have the option to automatically include a warning in your product description. You can choose to disable this warning, but the information should still be communicated to your customers on your website before they make a purchase.
If you don’t display a warning next to your products, you may be liable under California Proposition 65.
